Designed with future sanctuary plans, the project balances function and budget through value engineering.
18000+ Square feet.This is a 1,700 s.f. locker room addition to an existing gym located at Portland Christian School. There will be two offices, two locker rooms, two restrooms, and a storage room being added to the current gym.
1700+ Square feet.Lichtefeld, Inc. is adding an 8,500 s.f. family life center to St. Albert the Great Church, including a multi-generational room, restrooms, storage, a mechanical room, a concession stand, and a catering kitchen. Renovations also cover Willet Hall gym and Hendricks Hall kindergarten.
8500+ Square feet.Lichtefeld, Inc. is designing and providing a 41,000 s.f. Butler superstructure with an MR-24 roof, mezzanine, and canopies for Severns Valley in partnership with Visioneering. The project includes interior remodeling, starting with the sanctuary and mezzanine before adding conventional structures.
41000+ Square feet.This 9,725 s.f. private elementary school in Norton Commons, awarded to Lichtefeld, Inc. in 2016, features a steel structure with Hardie plank siding, Dryvit, and storefront glass. It includes storm shelter rooms, classrooms, meeting spaces, and restrooms.
9000+ Square feet.This project involved complex phased construction on a tight site, with steel framing, masonry exteriors, and premium interiors featuring wood beams, terrazzo, marble, and custom lighting. Mechanical systems included geothermal HVAC with radiant heating. Lichtefeld, Inc. preserved and repurposed historic altar elements from St. Vincent DePaul, integrating them into St. Bernadette Church.
35000+ Square feet.Meredith Dunn School construction included a 10,000 s.f. auditorium/gymnasium and 2,000 s.f. of renovated classroom space. Work involved site preparation, masonry, steel, framing, drywall, ceilings, cabinetry, sports equipment, stage lighting, HVAC, and electrical.
10000+ Square feet.Burnett Baptist Church features a new 6,800 sq. ft. addition, including a worship center and gathering area. The project involved Butler structural systems, a state-of-the-art MR-24 standing seam roof, iinsulated wall panels, and storefront glass. The interior includes classrooms, meeting rooms, restrooms, and a modern lobby with custom finishes. Designed for functionality and aesthetics, the space is optimized for community engagement and future expansion.
17000+ Square feet.Christian Academy’s K-8 project includes classrooms, a library/media center, cafeteria, gym, and administrative spaces. Initially over budget by $1M, Lichtefeld, Inc. re-engineered the design to save $900K without reducing square footage. The Butler structural system features wide-span steel frames, MR-24 standing seam roof, and a facade blending wall panels, glass, masonry, and stucco.
