Located in a Bardstown, KY strip center, this project involves interior demolition and remodel, including slab removal and replacement, plumbing updates, expanded masonry openings, new doors, drywall, paint, flooring, millwork, reworked lighting, and sprinkler adjustments.
4800+ Square feet.Norton’s Medical 2nd-floor renovation included full demolition and rebuild: walls, floors, ceilings, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and sprinklers were removed and replaced. Updates included sewer line replacement, framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, new flooring, storefront glass, and interior/exterior painting. The floor plan was completely redesigned.
4000+ Square feet.This 7,572 sq. ft. Veterinary Equine Hospital includes a block foundation, concrete floors, wood framing, a truss roof, and a brick/stone facade. It features specialty stalls, two equine surgery cranes, a small pets area, and second-floor offices with an observation room.
7500+ Square feet.This single-story masonry building features a wood truss roof, metal accents, and a storefront lobby. Inside are glass-front kennel stalls with outdoor access, cattle corrals, small animal treatment areas, offices, exam rooms, X-ray facilities, a break room, restrooms, and a waiting area.
7500+ Square feet.7,400 sq. ft. renovation for Norton’s Healthcare, creating two tenant spaces: prompt care and a specialty doctor’s office. Work included full interior demolition, plumbing and HVAC reconfiguration, roof system updates, and a new floor plan. The build-out added offices, exam rooms, restrooms, labs, and other medical spaces, along with separate entrances for each tenant.
7400+ Square feet.65,000 sq. ft. psychiatric hospital for Cumberland Hall in Hopkinsville, KY, built for UHS. Lichtefeld, Inc. supplied and erected a Butler metal building system with an MR-24 roof. The project featured stone wainscot, Dyvit finishes, and standard MEP systems. Phase 1 included the main hospital, and Phase 2 was the gymnasium.
65000+ Square feet.Lichtefeld, Inc. built a 22,000 sq. ft. facility in 2008 and recently completed a 17,000 sq. ft. interior fit-up for Norton’s Healthcare. The building features an insulated Butler steel structure, MR-24 roof system, storefront glass, brick façade, and metal panels. The interior includes offices, exam rooms, a breakroom, conference room, lab, nurses station, and reception area.
17000+ Square feet.This 8,400 sq. ft. two-story facility is designed for foot and ankle medical use, featuring exam rooms, offices, a nurses station, reception area, break room, retail space, waiting area, and restrooms. The structure is built with a Butler steel frame, complemented by a brick and block exterior, storefront glass, a metal roof, and painted accents. A covered carport provides drop-off access for convenience.
8400+ Square feet.Barbour Lane Animal Hospital is a 6,500 s.f. facility located in Louisville, Kentucky. Lichtefeld, Inc. worked with Berry Prindle Associates to design and construct this state-of-the-art animal care building. It features specialized spaces for veterinary treatment, including exam rooms, surgery areas, and kennels, all built to provide high-quality care for animals. The project was completed in March 2008.
